Jewelry Classes

MuJER’s newest workshop developed from a conversation between a volunteer and her student. What began as nothing more than a way to pass the time for the two women is now a regular jewelry-making workshop that doubles as a “self- help support group.”

Once a week, a handful of women gather to teach and learn from each other various jewelry making techniques and styles. MuJER assists the women by providing them with a safe space and/or helping them gather in their own community. MuJER also provides the materials and tools free of charge.
